Principal's Welcome
To the families of MCCS and to those visiting our site for more information, welcome! Our school is an area treasure. We are the only cross-denominational Christian school in Monroe County. We are blessed with a faculty that cares for more than just the academics of the school-day. We share God's love with our students and their families. We strive to create an environment that is welcoming, family-friendly, and where a visitor "bumps" into visuals and reminders of our Lord and His saving grace often. I am proud to be a part of a team of teachers that routinely go above and beyond and truly hold servant hearts.
My role here was preceded by ten years of teaching Lutheran middle school and four years leading as principal. My own children attended a Lutheran day school, so I have first-hand experience, from a parent perspective, in how a Christian education prepares students to think beyond themselves and to look at the world differently than many of their peers.
I cannot think of a better way of serving in my now ninth year as a principal than helping MCCS grow into the community asset I know it can be. I have an open door policy and welcome interactions with parents and other stakeholders. Please stop by and touch base whenever you get a chance. I look forward to talking with you!

Our Mission
To establish a Christ-centered, Christ-honoring Christian School in Monroe County
-
That works with God, parents, and churches
-
That develops children who love God, serve their communities, and advance God's kingdom
-
That provides an exceptional Christian-based academic experience
-
That includes Christ and a biblical worldview in every aspect of the student experience
-
That matures and prepares students for actively engaging in the world around them as Christian believers.
Our History
MCCS opened on August 22, 2018 with three grade levels. The facility was then housed at Momentum Christian Church. In August 2019, another grade level was added. The 2020-2021 school year began under the Covid-19 situation, a dramatic increase in enrollment, and social distancing requirements that necessitated a move to another larger location. The school is currently nestled inside Hope Christian Church. We served grades K-4 during the 2020-2021 school year, thru grade 7 for the current school year, and added grade 8 for 2023-2024. Our middle school expansion project for 2023-2024 will provide a unique and dedicated space for our older middle school students. We are venturing into high school and adding a grade 9 affiliate program for 2024-2025.
